The Road Not Taken

I received an email from my sister, earlier this week. It contained a number of pictures of country roads, paths, long stretches of highway and more. As I looked at them, they reminded of the Amazing Journey upon which we all embarked starting July 5th. Two great companies; One great future. Two paths merging into one.

“All of life is a journey which paths we take, what we look back on, and what we look forward to is up to us. We determine our destination, what kind of road we will take to get there, and how happy we are when we get there.”

“Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb.” ~ Winston Churchill

“The journey is the reward.” ~ Chinese proverb

“Success is not a place at which one arrives but rather the spirit with which one undertakes and continues the journey.” ~ Alex Noble

“It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.” ~ Ursula LeGuin

“Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming … WOW! What a ride!” ~ Unknown
